History[]

Stout Ironfist is best known as the first Troll Slayer to play Blood Bowl professionally for the Dwarf Giants from 2465 until his death in 2471.

Professional Career[]

Previous to becoming a Troll Slayer, Stout Ironfist was a star blitzer for the Dwarf Giants. Given the charge of protecting the King's son during a match against the Lowdown Rats, the son was killed by the Lowdown Rats' Troll, after Ironfist had been distracted and blinded by a custard pie. With frenzy upon him, Ironfist grabbed the horned helmet of the slain son and decapitated the troll. Due to his failure and shame, Ironfist shaved his head into a mohawk as a sign of humility, and dyed his hair orange as a mark of respect to the famous red beard of the King's son[1].

For the rest of his career, Stout Ironfist challenged the largest and/or toughest opponents the Dwarf Giants faced so that death could release him from his shame. In 2471, in a game versus the Chaos All-Stars, Ironfist was triple-team blocked by the All-Stars' Ogre, Morg 'N Thorg, the Troll, Bork, and the Minotaur, Zy-Nox. This led to Ironfist's death and release from his humiliation[1].

Because of his legend, all Dwarfs who incur massive shame during Blood Bowl matches follow Stout Ironfist's path in their efforts toward redemption through on-pitch violence[1].
